Meta Tag Generator

Fill in page details and get copy-paste HTML for meta description, Open Graph, Twitter Cards, and canonical tags. Includes live SERP preview and AI suggestions.

Meta Tag Generator is a browser-based tool on 24Toolkit. Fill in page details and get copy-paste HTML for meta description, Open Graph, Twitter Cards, and canonical tags. Includes live SERP preview and AI suggestions. The Meta Tag Generator combines two workflows in one tool: analyze existing pages or create meta tags from scratch. In Analyze mode, paste any URL to get a quality score out of 100, see every detected meta tag, preview how the page appears on Google and social media, and receive AI-powered title and description suggestions. In Generate mode, fill in your page details and the tool produces properly formatted HTML for title, meta description, keywords, Open Graph, Twitter Cards, canonical URL, and robots directives. Quick templates for blog posts, product pages, local businesses, and portfolios let you start with sensible defaults.

Key Features

How to Use

  1. Analyze or Start Fresh: Switch to the Analyze tab and paste a URL to audit its current meta tags, or stay on Generate to build tags from scratch.
  2. Review the Score: If you analyzed a URL, check the quality score, detected issues, and AI suggestions. Click “Fix & Generate” to auto-fill the form with improved values.
  3. Fine-Tune Your Tags: Edit the title (aim for under 60 characters), description (150–160 characters), keywords, author, OG image URL, canonical URL, and robots directive. Use a Quick Template if you need a starting point.
  4. Export the Code: Click “Generate Meta Tags” to produce the HTML. Preview how it looks on Google and social platforms, then copy the code or download it as an HTML file and paste it into your site’s <head>.

FAQ

What is the difference between Analyze and Generate?

Analyze mode fetches a live URL, scores its existing meta tags out of 100, lists issues, and optionally suggests AI-improved titles and descriptions. Generate mode lets you fill in fields manually and produces the HTML. You can combine both: analyze first, then click “Fix & Generate” to auto-fill the generator with corrected values.

What are Open Graph and Twitter Card tags?

Open Graph tags control how your page appears when shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms — they set the preview image, title, and description. Twitter Card tags do the same for posts on X (Twitter). Without them, shared links may show broken or generic previews.

How does the AI suggestion feature work?

When you analyze a URL, the tool can optionally call an AI model to generate improved title and description suggestions based on the page’s actual content. You can preview these suggestions and apply them with one click before generating the final HTML.
